Comments: Akane's Lina on the glowing symbol is SO CUTE! Gourry as the the mysterious swordsman is quite a departure from her usual style. I like it very much. Everyone thinks of Zel as mysterious, but perhaps it was a hidden dark side to Gourry that enabled Hellmaster to use him? I also saw Akane's Lina in Newtype! Also gorgeous. Hooray for Akane's reminding Newtype readers of Slayers!
