"Filia the Dragon Lady"
(Parody of "Lydia the Tattooed Lady" from the Marx Bros. Film "An Night at the Opera")
By

My life was wrapped around the shrine. Her name was Filia. I met her at the shrine in 1900, marked down from1940. Ah, Filia.

She was the most glorious creature
Under the su-un.
Guiess. DuBarry. Garbo.
Rolled into one.

Oooooooh
Filia oh Filia, say have you met Filia,
Filia, the Dragon Maiden.
She has eyes that folks adore so,
And wings even more so.
Filia oh Filia, that encyclopedia,
Oh Filia the Queen of the Shrine.
On her back is the Battle of Shabrnigdo.
Beside it the wreck of the Hell Master, too.
And proudly above waves the Red, White, and Blue,
You can learn a lot from Filia.

La la la, la la la, la la la, la la la

When her wings are unfurled, she will show you the world,
If you step up and tell her where.
For a dime you can see the Death Star or for free,
See Martina a-curling her hair.

La la la, la la la, la la la, la la la

Oh Filia oh Filia, say have you met Filia,
Oh Filia the Dragon Maiden
When her muscles start flappin'
Then her temper starts snappin'

Filia oh Filia, that encyclopedia,
Oh Filia the queen of them all!
For two bits she will do a mazoku in drag
With a view of her mace that nobody has.
And on a clear day you can see Alcatraz.
You can learn a lot from Filia.

La la la, la la la, la la la, la la la

Come along and see Gourry with his Sword of Light.
Just a little classic Zangulus fight.
Here is Captain Lina exploring the Amazon.
Here's Naga but with her pajamas on.

La la la, la la la, la la la, la la la

Here is Miss Lina all angry and violent.
Over on the West Coast we have Treaure Island.
Here's Zelgadis a-doin' the rumba.
Here's her social security numba.

(whistles)

Oh Filia, oh Filia that encyclopedia,
Oh Filia the champ of them all.
She once swept a Mazoku clear off his feet.
The ships on her hips made his heart skip a beat.
And now the old boy's almost dead on his feet,
For he went and angered Filia.

I said Filia (He said Filia)
I said Filia (We said Filia)
La La!
